After a phone screen, I was flown on-site for a day of tours, testing, and interviewing. The experience was a bit exhausting and overwhelming, but I was convinced of their desire to determine fit rather than qualification. They let me know the decision a couple of weeks later.

Pros: I worked on a very chill team that did cool stuff. My manager was great. They expect a lot, but if you are getting it done, there are no worries.
Cons: Some other interns had mentioned a different experience. Poor management on their teams made it not very enjoyable.

Pros: Salaried, flexible work hours, a lot of independence, individual project.
Cons: If you were hoping to work on a team, you will be on a team, but most of the work you do is individual.
