Software Engineer Interview Experience - Madison, Wisconsin

Process

There were a few different stages.

First was an online application. After I got through the screening, I had a short ten-minute conversation with an engineer there, which I thought went well. He asked me about projects I had worked on, technologies I had used, etc.

After that was a coding interview, which used an online proctoring service. It had a timed IQ test, which was very easy. The tricky part was you had to answer as many questions as you could in a very short time frame.

The coding test: we were given three hours or so to solve four or five problems. The difficulty in each wasn't too bad, but they did take a while. I thought I did really well, but I ended up not getting an offer.
