I had to take an online technical assessment, which required me to install a Chrome extension to monitor my browser while taking the assessment.

The Chrome extension made my computer lag out constantly, as it would take my computer 10 seconds to register an input, if at all, and would often repeat inputs constantly.

After the assessment, the Chrome extension magically disappeared without me having to uninstall it. But ever since taking the assessment, my computer would periodically, magically have the exact same lagging issues, even after doing every malware scan possible and even reinstalling Windows numerous times.
