A lot of opportunities to grow, and they provide new hires exposure to high-level management.
Work does not match the quantity of hours you will put in. Expect to work 60-70 hours for good pay in Madison, but not competitive nationally.
Provide direction to employees of where the company is going. Methodology and processes are vague and constantly change over the short term.
