Epic had good benefits and a great training program. The organization was very flat, which could be a pro or con. For the most part, everyone was treated as an equal. The work-life balance was good as well. While they didn't have facilities on-site for a gym or child care, which would have been nice, they did partner with local facilities to offer discounts.
Epic exploded in terms of growth. I was in the top half of seniority of my team within 6 months, but I didn't feel I had the knowledge or training to be there.
Also, Madison, WI was the only option to live in, and it is just way too cold.
Improve retention rates. There need to be people who have experience in what they are doing, not just a few classes and training programs.
