QAers gonna QA. Epic is great, but there's definitely room for improvement.
Variety, flexibility in work. No micromanagement. Worthwhile projects. Generally limited red tape. Great, competent co-workers. Some travel options. Great campus. Offices, not cubes. Underground parking. Amazing support staff.
- High workload.
- Vacation caps out at 3 weeks, and the family leave policy is a joke.
- Upper-level management has started making condescending, Big Brother-type decisions about employee health/wellness.
- QA makes significantly less than other roles.
Want to be viewed as an industry leader? Don't treat your employees like children.
