Pros
  • Coworkers are generally intelligent and hard-working people who make the work day enjoyable and engage easily with one another.
  • Good food and access to snacks/beverages throughout the day.
  • Opportunities for getting involved in different areas within the company no matter what role you have.
  • Casual dress code while at the office.
  • Emphasis on "doing good," and the company donates money each year on behalf of the employees to organizations of each person's choosing.
  • The office atmosphere is comfortable, and the campus is decorative, fun, and very well-maintained.
Cons

The job experience can be incredibly different depending on management. No two people will have the same experience, so it's hard to know what you're getting into.

Work-life balance is not emphasized across the company.

There is little to no transparency regarding salary, compensation, benefits, or performance reviews.

QA-Specific:

QA is very poorly compensated compared to the rest of the company and the industry overall.

There are few opportunities for movement or advancement across or out of the division.

Advice to Management

Please recognize the work the QA division contributes to the company.
