Most folks are smart and enjoyable to work with. The work is important and helpful. Good pay for people without technical backgrounds.
Compensation and management choices are a black box; rarely do decisions about who should be in charge make sense to other people on the team. Management values loyalty over experience, and the company suffers for it.
Schedule releases to create as few super-busy weeks as possible.
Hire more people who are not just out of school.
Don't put people on the management track when they've been there less than a few years.
