Out of touch upper management. Claims to be a good, honest company, but then refuses to acknowledge employee safety as a top priority during a pandemic and demotes managers for trying to push back on the irresponsible return-to-campus plan.

Advice to Management

Make employee safety a top priority. Act like you value employees who have dedicated many years to the company, are hard, effective workers, and have done so much for the company by listening to their feedback rather than demoting them. Don’t be so secretive about things such as the return-to-work plan, which has the potential to affect the entire community and should be advertised to the media rather than leaked.
