Meaningful Mission; Work makes Real-World Impact
Increasingly cult-like culture. Management is increasingly out of touch, doesn't communicate the "why" behind policy changes, and rules by decree. Lower-level employees have no say in company policy, even though they'll repeatedly be told they were asked for their feedback in cryptic or hard-to-discover forums or communication channels.
Do better. This company hides behind double-speak of 'missions' and 'culture,' but the real meaning behind both is 'fall in line.' There used to be a time when employees had a say in company policy, but that's no longer true. This company is struggling to maintain its soul as it expands.
