I have had a great time with my team and am working on things that are really interesting to me. I came in with an interest in Machine Learning, and I expressed that a lot through the hiring process. They listened and put me on a team with that focus!
Some of the other roles (implementation especially) I know people who get burned out really fast. It seems like your experience here is very dependent on which team you end up on.
Rework how quickly you give work to IS, as it seems getting overwhelmed with how much is given is the regular outcome for those roles.
