Gorgeous campus, delicious food, balanced workload, and many interesting activities (hiking, Six Flags, paintball, theater, movie night, picnic, kayak, etc.). Also, a good salary and a personal office.
I don't think there are apparent downsides for the intern program. I experienced a great summer time.
