Worked on a small team that was given a problem statement with a general idea of what a solution might look like. Our team made multiple iterations of our solution and was given some direction along the way, but also time to implement our own ideas. We worked really hard, but at the end of the summer, we had a good solution which received good reviews from people.
This is a great internship program, from the project to the food to the awesome perks. The full-time employees are very helpful and dedicated to interns and don't just blow you off. I had a ton of fun and felt good about the work we accomplished.
Most intern groups/people seemed to get projects related to their background or what they asked for.
