Pretty good experience (Intern)
- Great salary.
- Very large and scenic campus. Absolutely beautiful.
- Cool project. I worked on an iOS application with a very helpful team who knew exactly what they wanted the app to look like and who gave us a bunch of awesome feedback.
- Incredible intern HR team. They scheduled a bunch of fun events and were overall just awesome to talk to and hang out with the entire summer.
Orientation is long and boring. I didn't get to be in my office for over a week. Also, some of the classes explain why some people say Epic feels like a cult.
Location. Maybe this is a personal thing, but I don't think I could live in Wisconsin long term.
Bureaucratic. It's a really big company and it looks super young and fresh and exciting, but once you start working, you start to feel how large and clunky it actually is.
Legacy code. Oh my god, so much VB6.
