Working at Epic, you are quickly given a lot of responsibility and opportunity, with very good pay for most positions. There are some really smart people working at Epic. The company tries to teach an ethical culture and to put the patient first. Some nice perks include the relaxed dress code, single or double offices, and great food. Health insurance is pretty good. The campus is pretty neat, though you spend most of your time in offices or meeting rooms. Also, they mostly hire straight out of college, so if you are young, there will be lots of people your age.
With lots of responsibility comes lots of stress and long hours. It seemed to be pretty standard practice to assign everyone more work than they could handle, so you have to do a lot of prioritization. Some management is younger and not as experienced.
