Also, this might be a pro for some people. But to be successful at Epic, you need to be passionate about healthcare. If you are more passionate about technology, Epic might not be the best place for you. For example, if there's a critical bug, a quick fix is more preferable. They are more reluctant to clean up and modernize old code because they don't want to break the software and cause harm to patients, which is good. But for someone who is more passionate about technology innovation, Epic was not a good fit for me.
