All in all, I really do enjoy what I do as a software developer at Epic. I feel like I am good at what I do, and the work is satisfying. My Team Lead is a Software Developer as well, and I can ask him about both technical and logistical questions.
There is no real discourse between upper management and employees. Everything must go up the chain of command.
