Great Projects, Need Self-direction

Pros

Well-put-together internship with interesting projects. Even with the large intern pool, you don't feel like you're competing with other interns. The environment encourages asking questions and getting help when you need it.

Interns have a lot of say in the structure of their project and how they spend their time. Housing was provided for all interns in downtown Madison.

Cons

Because of the amount of say interns have in their project/structure, interns need to be self-directed. This is fine, but depending on the project, interns often need to spend much of the project familiarizing themselves with existing code. This can lead to awkward moments partway through where you realize what you've been working on has already been done.

Because housing was in downtown Madison, the commute to/from work was about 25 minutes.
