Toxic culture created by upper management, including gaslighting and ignoring feedback.

Salary roles are pressured to work 50-60 hours a week and track their time (down to 15-minute increments), despite only being paid for 40.

Bring in more diverse perspectives and actually trust your managers and employees to do their job. My TL was great but was practically unable to do their job given the terrible decisions by HR this last year.

Try to be flexible, especially during a pandemic. The employees you hire are trustworthy, so you should actually try to exercise that trust. TLs could have easily handled remote work on a case-by-case basis.
