The interview process was very quick. I applied through a job portal and received a callback within two weeks. After the callback, a phone interview was scheduled with the recruiter to learn more about my candidate profile, followed by the hiring manager interview. About a week later, the loop interviews were conducted back-to-back, each lasting 30 minutes. These included:
The interviewers were good, but they seemed a bit distracted when I was talking through my answers, and they appeared to be in a hurry to wrap up the process.
The interview process itself was fine. However, once the interviews were done, I received an email the very next day stating I was not selected because they had found someone matching the exact role level and technical skillsets they were looking for.
I didn't find this email convincing. If they had interviewed me the previous day for the loop rounds, how did they find another candidate within 14-18 hours matching the exact role criteria? Either they had already found the candidate even before conducting my interviews, making my process a formality, or they already secured someone from internal job opportunities.
Either way, I didn't like the end result of the interview, as no feedback was provided even though all rounds were completed.
