I thought of Expedia as a good company, but a good company is made up of good people, not a bunch of hypocrites and lying HRs.

I had three technical rounds, one managerial round, and one HR round for the position of SDE-3 Android.

• December 15, 2021: Cleared all interview rounds.
• December 17, 2021: I was informed that my feedback was positive and I would be receiving an offer soon.
• December 23, 2021: I contacted HR myself to check for an update, but was informed that a different HR would be reaching out to discuss the offer.
• First week of January 2022: I discussed and finalized an offer on a call with the hiring HR, hoping to receive a formal offer via email.
• Second week of January 2022: I received no update. I reached out to the HR myself, and he asked for more time to get approvals on the offer.
• After another week, he told me that the offer was pending with the Hiring Manager, who was down with COVID.
• Weeks passed, and HR kept stalling and delaying the process.

I stopped asking for updates, having lost patience and trust in HR and the process. I even sent an email to the hiring recruiter and her team, but received no reply.

In short, I wasted more than two months even after clearing all rounds and discussing the offer with HR. I never imagined a company like Expedia could have people who are so careless and unprofessional.
