The HR were very unprofessional. The HR found my profile on a job portal and called me. They then told me another colleague (HR) would call in a couple of days and schedule the interview for the same week. I said okay.
Well, there was no update for three weeks. The HR called after three weeks and was eager to schedule the interview for the next day. The interview was okay. The panel ended the interview saying they would share feedback with HR the same day. The panel was professional.
But then the trouble started. When I asked the HR for an update, there was no response for several days. I called, messaged, and emailed. There was no response. I then finally asked them to either let me know the status or end my candidature.
One of the HR called and said that the panel was not providing the feedback and they had escalated this. Due to that, they had put the position on hold. This sounded very suspicious to me, as the panel talked about sharing the feedback the same day. I felt there was something fishy going on there.
Anyways, it's the organization's loss, and the quality of hire does make a difference.
