I wish I could give feedback to someone at a higher level. This was one of the worst interviews. The recruiter and the team had no communication.
The interview team was so naive that they only wanted to proceed if I had worked on a specific version of the tool. I think they were inexperienced and did not understand software development.
Companies like Amazon, Facebook, and Google do not worry about specific language versions. Here were these individuals asking only if I had worked on a specific version of the tool.
I said no and told them I didn't think I was a good fit for this role to save my time.
Questions
No question, they asked me if I had already set up my development environment. The recruiter never told me about it, and I did not get any information about the setup either.
