I received a call from a recruiter, followed by a HackerRank assessment with four easy to medium difficulty questions.
Next, I had an onsite interview in Bellevue. The stay and interview experience were good.
The onsite consisted of four 45-minute rounds, and the team was friendly. There were two coding rounds, one design round, and one behavioral round.
The coding rounds were easy to medium difficulty. The design round was a bit challenging, so I recommend practicing your design questions and learning about basic design patterns such as publisher-subscriber, singleton, and factory.
The behavioral round was good, though the interviewer was a bit uptight and expected me to have gone through all scenarios.
I comfortably cleared all rounds, providing more than satisfactory answers to all the behavioral and design questions.
I then received an email from the recruiter stating I didn't make it because the team was looking for something else. I felt that was very dishonest feedback; I knew I had cleared all rounds. I suspect that since they had to file an H1B for me, they hesitated to hire.
