I had an initial call from the recruiter to go over my basic profile, followed by a phone screen.
After that, I was called onsite in Bellevue, US, for a full-day interview.
I had 5 rounds in total.
Phone screen had 3 simple coding questions.
On-site had a mix of coding, design, frontend, and behavioral interviews.
The first interview was a coding round. Two questions were asked, and code had to be written on a whiteboard.
The second interview was a design interview. A really good discussion was had with the interviewer. The candidate was asked to design a real-world system.
The third interview was more of a knowledge-based one on frontend technologies.
The fourth interview included one more coding question, array-related. Then, the discussion moved on to some frontend questions (CSS, JavaScript, frameworks), such as "What are pseudo-selectors?" and "What are closures?"
The fifth interview was conducted by an architect. The candidate really enjoyed interviewing with this person. The architect had great knowledge of products and technologies. Some behavioral questions were asked, followed by a string manipulation question.
