Process

I applied online and was given a HackerRank assessment of 90 minutes with 7 questions. All these questions were tough. I was able to solve two of them, and for the remaining five, I attempted them and got some test cases to pass. Then, I was invited for a HireVue one-sided video interview. The questions were basic behavioral questions. I am currently waiting for the next rounds.

Pros: Great life balance because many people only work 3 hours a day and they get paid nicely, so they just get by. Good restaurants are around the office. $300~$600 travel money annually.

Cons: Why is Priceline doing much better than Expedia? This is why. Too much politics. Too much stabbing at each other. If you don't have an ally, it's hard to work there even if you are a rock star. They don't value results too much. Feedback from your peer is over-valued. The pay is the lowest among all the big companies in this area compared to Google, Microsoft, etc.
