I was contacted by a recruiter for Expedia Montreal. The first phase of the interview went well. The questions covered Java core, Hibernate, and Spring. I was told that I passed the first round.

They scheduled a 3-hour video interview, but they did not show up. The recruiter arranged another interview. I had to move my other responsibilities and waited for them. Similarly, they did not show up.

I did not expect this, especially in 2017. I did not receive any email.

I contacted the recruiter. She was also shocked. After one week, my recruiter told me that she had received an automated message stating that I was rejected. They did not even apologize for messing up my schedule. I wish they had respect for candidates.
