Travel benefits are the best! Their 401k is also very competitive. The people I worked with directly were great, and you can build meaningful relationships there.
The politics were horrendous – at least, it was in my case. I have no clue why companies think it's a good idea to hire mid- and senior-level leadership from outside the company. Those folks have no understanding of the company culture, much less the team they end up leading. This led to multiple examples of folks not getting recognized or promoted that everyone knows should have been, and likewise, folks that needed to be shown the way out, and weren't.
Please, for the love of everything that is holy, start your hiring at the IC level and promote leadership from within the ranks rather than hire it from outside. One bad apple can spoil the barrel, right?
All interview rounds were good and smooth. There was no long waiting. They called according to my availability. Overall rounds depend on the candidate's skills and the position. They hire you if you give confident answers to each round.
Face-to-face round. There were three rounds in total. In the end, I was told that there would be a Skype and director round. No email, no call, and no feedback were received, even after 15 days.
1st Round: Screening done by one of the senior team members. Asked about past experience and work profile. Discussed the Job Description and the roles and responsibilities Expedia is looking for, followed by a few scenario-based questions. At the end
