There are pockets of great people. Who your leader is matters a lot.
Leadership is very top-down now. Mid- and low-level leaders are not empowered anymore. Expect to spend a lot of time filling out PowerPoints and showing how what you do aligns with what SVPs want. They no longer want managers and directors who can solve big problems. They want you to say yes and do what you're told.
