It was unfortunate how the latest layoffs happened. There were very sudden layoffs with no telegraphing. It felt like a last-minute idea to boost stock price ahead of a CEO transition. People deserve to have the opportunity to adjust to the potential for layoffs.
3 rounds: phone, technical, and hiring manager. Emphasis was placed on hiring manager and fit. Come prepared with stories to talk about your experience. Overall, a good interview and very quick.
I completed a take-home assignment. This was followed by both a behavioral and a technical interview. After those, I received a call from the hiring manager. We discussed the role, and I was ultimately offered the position.
