Decent work-life balance. Decent insurance benefits. Nice facilities.
Very stagnant stock.
Sudden layoffs.
Tons of politics and personality play, even in engineering.
It was unfortunate how the latest layoffs happened. There were very sudden layoffs with no telegraphing. It felt like a last-minute idea to boost stock price ahead of a CEO transition. People deserve to have the opportunity to adjust to the potential for layoffs.
