Good travel benefits. Somewhat relaxing environment depending on teams. Some teams work on new technologies (most teams do not).
Very distracting and crowded start-up-like workspace. Too much politics for technology groups. Extreme micromanagement using Agile Scrum & a crowded space with no walls. Unprofessional behaviors from managers. A 12,000-person company, but it runs like a very big company (100k+ people). Lots of personalities ruining teamwork. Spending too much resource and time on maintaining legacy technology instead of innovating. Trying to mimic Microsoft benefits, but very cheap benefits in reality. Because of high turnover, virtually everything has to be paid back if you leave the company within a certain number of months or a year.
Visions should come from the top, not from some random employees. More focus and investment on technology is essential to survive competition from Priceline and Orbitz.
