Pros

Compensation is good. A cab facility is available. Free lunch is provided. Freebies include approximately 10K Rs for travel every year. If you prefer a Mac over a Windows computer, you can have it.

Cons
  1. It looks like a BPO setting; there are no cubicles inside.

  2. Around 10 employees have been fired till now (in less than a year of setup). These employees did well in their previous jobs and were from good companies.

  3. The company has no spirit and fun anymore. This has cost them in their quarterly profits, which have gone down.

  4. If you are technically savvy, you should not be here, as technology teams make no decisions. Decisions are made by the business, and technology teams are just support groups.

  5. There is unhealthy competition at work, as many vendors have been converted to full-time employees who prefer their vendor counterparts over full-time employees. The same is true for growth.

Advice to Management

VPs, SVPs, and CXOs need to control the directors. If VPs and further up management do not take the time to establish a vision for the company and teams, then directors will run their personal agendas and treat employees in their teams as slaves.
