Management is not good at the top level in India. The managers do not have a strong technical background, and this shows up in the overall quality of work being done here.
Lot of the managers are from QA backgrounds or services companies and not from good product companies.
Most of the work done here involves supporting existing services. Not much innovation is being done here. Won't recommend Expedia, Gurgaon, for budding software engineers looking for good quality work and innovation.
Also, there is a lot of favoritism in the office, and so it becomes difficult for newcomers to adjust. More emphasis is on keeping management happy than on doing good quality work.
Good. There were two DSA questions in the technical round and one manager talk for fitment in their company. The faculty were very knowledgeable and efficient, and also very cooperative and quick. They guided me a lot in this hiring process.
