As an intern, I was coming in as my first job. I found everyone here really willing to help out. The best part is that I did not get some pointless project to work on; I was working on production code that would be used by millions of people.
I found the work culture to be one of the best perks. Everyone is relaxed, and I never felt too stressed out. Expedia takes pride in balancing work and play. There were group release parties and other company events that gave us a great break every now and then. Also, during the summer, they had a social event every other Friday where people could just relax and get to know each other better.
Some of the work can be not the most interesting work. Don't get me wrong; there are a lot of interesting problems that need to be solved. But the upside to this is that the work seems to be very fluid. So, just because you may not be working on the most interesting part of a project this time, things could change the next time.
Keep the job movement fluid and keep the benefits up.
