Good tech stack. Good place to hone development skills. Smart colleagues. Ideas are listened to here. Transparent leadership. Well-streamlined processes and tools are followed. Salary is credited before the month's end. Free travel booking up to a capped amount for employees on the Expedia website.

Cons

Make no mistakes: work-life balance at Expedia is a myth. It used to be the case a couple of years back, but now things have gone farther south.

  • No cash bonuses.
  • Equities are negligible.
  • Compensation is not competitive in the market.
  • HR in the talent acquisition team is highly unprofessional.
Advice to Management

Think about the career growth of individual contributors.

Try to value the best talents and retain them.

Individual contributors bring more value to the company; reward them for their work.
