Culture is nice; it's very chilled. There are never hard deadlines or stress. You can always negotiate deadlines. Everyone is really friendly and helpful, and there are some really smart colleagues. The office is really nice. There are regular company-wide socials.
They like to get managers and directors from within, which is fine. However, sometimes someone is maybe suitable and good for their role but not in a managerial role dealing with people. The technical standard here isn't the highest compared to some other big tech companies, resulting in some senior/principal engineers who don't even know some basics and are just floating around going from team to team.
