I loved the teams. I literally thought that I was getting paid for learning.
Your work-life balance totally depends on the team you are in.
I was with someone who always pushed me to do more, and that created a little rush in my internship. After that, everything was fine.
Please assign SDE-1 or other junior engineers as buddies/mentors for an intern so that they can communicate more freely. I was assigned an SDE-3, who was always busy, and I couldn't ask more questions because he was always busy. We didn't even connect so well because he was more than 12 years senior to me.
