WLB, good colleagues, and the Austin office is nice, in my opinion.
LT is really opaque. They decided to suddenly give nobody promotions except for "exceptional cases" that turned out to not exist at all. There can be tons of process to get things done at times.
Lying to your employees is never okay.
LT did lie when they said, "only exceptional cases got promoted." There were no exceptional cases. Only new grads got promoted, but literally no one else. I don't think anyone would think only new grads as exceptional cases.
It's a very bad look on you guys, and you lost a lot of respect from me for doing that.
One OA and one on-site interview, which was around two to three hours total. Mix of behavioral and LeetCode medium problems. Both interviewers used a combination of both during their time with me.
3 rounds: phone, technical, and hiring manager. Emphasis was placed on hiring manager and fit. Come prepared with stories to talk about your experience. Overall, a good interview and very quick.
About my career path, next steps, and technologies I would like to use and what I used before. Why I want to leave and what motivates me more. Also, we discussed relocation.
