I was interviewing with F5 Networks. I applied online and received a call from the recruiter.
After speaking with the recruiter, I was scheduled for the phone interview, where I was asked one coding question. I did solve the question and gave the solution for that particular problem asked to me.
After a few days, the recruiter contacted me and told me that I had cleared the interview and would like to invite me for the on-site interview.
I gave my availability for the on-site for Wednesday and Friday of the following week, but I didn't hear anything until Tuesday. So, I reached out to the recruiter to check if there was any update. That was when I got to know that one of the managers was on leave for a couple of weeks, and who also wanted to interview me, so they were not giving me a confirmation about the schedule.
I waited for a couple of weeks and then was constantly trying to contact the recruiter, but I didn't get any response. All of a sudden, after 3 weeks, I got to know that they were not moving forward with me because they found an internal candidate with whom they were moving forward.
This was the worst interview process that I have experienced to date. Even after going through the Glassdoor reviews, which are on the same lines, I was expecting mine to be a bit different, but it turned out that way. I am really very disappointed with this behavior, which is not at all professional.
I wish I could give a very negative experience.
Some basic string manipulation questions. I cannot say the questions because of the NDA.
