The phone interview consisted of nothing but a discussion of the resume. All the projects done, the courses taken in grad school, and a few basic networking questions were covered, such as TCP states, SSL negotiation phases, headers, and flags. A few questions on programming languages known and used, and comfort level with each, were also asked.
