Initial call with a recruiter.
Following the call, I was sent a 45-minute online coding test.
There was no face time with any technical staff before the coding challenge, nor any live coding.
I declined to continue because online coding tests are a poor assessment of technical skill.
Overall, it was a poor experience. Stop giving online coding tests, especially for senior positions.
