Good Food, Terrible Culture
Good Food, Terrible Culture
Free food - Mon, Wed & Fri. Free coffee & snacks all day. Competitive base salary.
Everything top to bottom. First of all, the skillset needed to perform the job role in the Sunnyvale factory is not something you'd ever imagine to do in the US.
To undercut, Fanatics hired a couple of contract agencies that source the talent. 95% of employees (while they are genuinely nice people & hard workers) are migrants without proper documentation.
It's also a NY-based tech bro company, meaning a kid with 3 years of post-college experience will have a director title and a kid with 7 years of experience will have a VP title. The CEO is a party guy and loves to party with Kim K. What kind of culture would you expect to transcend here?
WLB sucks. Be ready to work 12 hours a day, Monday through Friday.

Engineer Intern
Smooth and easy going. Had a call with the engineering director, HR manager, and operations manager at the warehouse. Also had a brief meeting with the engineer at a different site.
SQL Developer
I got the phone interview first and the Skype interview second. That is good and easy for me to pass. They asked some basic questions, not hard and no personality questions. Just tell the skill and so on. They are not that good when I came here. Ma
