Zoom call interviews.
Interviewed with 6 different individuals.
This was by far the most bizarre process I have ever been through. I was never even contacted by the recruiter – just a random text out of nowhere one day from someone telling me they were scheduling my interviews. This was not the recruiter. This person gave me 'my' recruiter's contact info, and after emailing said recruiter with some questions, the response was full of misspelled words and canned answers that were of no depth whatsoever.
I would almost chalk this up to being a ringer so they could say they interviewed more than one person for the role, although each interview went extremely well and often over the time allotted for each. The first person I met with even told me that HR posted the wrong job description and that my skill set actually fit the correct job description better.
I had to login to the Workday portal myself to find out that I was not selected. After my last interview, everything just went dark.
A little unprofessional for me. I don't expect a phone call, but most recruiters have the professionalism to at least email.
Utterly bizarre.
How is my current role similar to this role?
