Data Engineer Interview Experience - India
Process
This is the campus interview experience. Fidelity was offering us five positions:
- Data engineering
- Software engineering
- Technology and infrastructure engineering
- Mainframe development
- Quality assurance
I applied for data engineering.
First round was a mix of HR and technical. I was asked a bit about the ER model and then about my likes, dislikes, and personality. That went smoothly.
Next was technical. I was asked basic DBMS concepts and queries. Normalization was the main focus.
Next was HR. I was asked about my expectations from a software job, from Fidelity, and my hobbies.
None of the interviewers were intimidating.
