After clearing two technical rounds, I attended the HR round. They asked about my expected CTC. Once that round was over, there was no response from HR. When I called continuously, they said they could not afford my expected salary. At least there should have been some negotiation or proper communication about this. If they could not afford the expected CTC, they should not have conducted the technical rounds. They should have rejected me while gathering my basic details. That would have saved my time and effort.
