Some skills did not match my experience, but the recruiter said we are fine with it.
After a lot of delays, the interview was scheduled with the director.
The director did not seem to move forward because of the skills that did not match.
I was told there would be a coding round, but we did not even do any coding after knowing the skills did not match.
Suggestion: Hiring managers need to see the resume before even selecting for the interview. Wasting time on both ends doesn’t look good.
