The worst experience I have come across in my life. I received a call from a consultancy saying that there was a requirement for an AngularJS developer at Fidelity. So I said ok and asked them to send me the JD and venue. The JD clearly mentioned the requirement for AngularJS/Node.js/React.js, in addition to SQL DBA knowledge. So I checked with the consultancy, as they had told me there would be a coding test first. I mentioned that I don't have any knowledge in DB things, so what if the coding test will be on that? She clearly told me it's basically for AngularJS requirements and questions will be purely based on that. So, all ok. I went to the Fidelity office in EGL all the way from Whitefield ITPL, just to get to know that actually the requirement is for Java. I argued with them telling them why the consultancy called me telling it's an AngularJS requirement. They told me to just appear for the Java test only. It's the same only, na. My God! I argued it's not the same and I have come this far to get to know this. So they decided something among themselves and arranged a guy to take my interview on AngularJS. The poor guy doesn't have any knowledge of AngularJS. He was fumbling looking at my CV for 5 minutes, and he didn't have any option but to ask only about the projects. Obviously, I assumed it was just for formality; they arranged this interview as I had complained about the miscommunication. This is the pathetic and worst experience I have come across in my life. Total waste of time, energy, and money 😬
