I'm fresh blood, but all of my managers have been with the company for 10+ years. Several rode out the '08 recession and had multiple different careers within the company over that span.
My role doesn't officially begin until October, so right now I'm in the LEAP training program. I would highly recommend LEAP to anyone starting out in software development because there is a strong culture of internal development. Where else are you going to get 18 months of dedicated job training prior to joining your team?
Not to mention, the benefits are pretty great and hybrid working is the greatest.
I didn't get any relocation assistance, and there are rumors about losing free lunch soon.
Good! Nice people and a smooth interview. A couple of technical questions and concepts, and a lot about teamwork and projects in school. I did hear back in a couple of weeks with an answer.
Asked about the four pillars of Object Oriented Programming, previous coding projects, describing full stack development and Application Programming Interfaces, asked to write SQL code and Angular code, and one LeetCode easy-level question.
The interviewer was very relaxed and comforting. She asked me if I was comfortable not having any issues till Day. I replied politely and energetically that I was excited for the interview.
