Tech decisions are made with no basis in reality, and there is the expectation of delivering business value while constantly undercutting the developers' opinions and changing the fundamental expectations of the job.
You will not attract talent and you will lose high performers if you keep going in the direction you are going. I expected to be a Fidelity lifer but will likely be moving on.
