The projects assigned are completely random, for example, Data Science, NLP, Full Stack with maybe Angular, SpringBoot, or NodeJS, Cloud, and AWS.
So you have to learn something new within a short time frame and also deliver a project on it. Thus, it's a great learning experience.
The people there are really friendly and helpful, truly worth the hype of Fidelity being a great workplace.
The stipend was Rs. 35,000 for 2021 interns and Rs. 40,000 for 2020 interns.
Fidelity has around 95% PPO conversion rate (this was so for all years other than 2020).
There are no cons, to be very honest.
If I am being very nit-picky, then they don't send goodies or anything to their interns, which most of the other companies do.
So, interns had to work from their own laptop (at least this happened during the 2021 interns' duration).
The PPO offered was 12.93 LPA CTC, with around 9.83 in hand (this is after all types of tax deductions), which is a little less than the rest of the financial industry standards.
It's going well.
Perhaps the CTC could be made a little more competitive, even if it means sacrificing the PPO conversion rate.
It was an on-campus offer for 3rd-year students based on CGPA. It was quite easy, but it varied from person to person. Some were asked about DSA and DBMS in the technical round as well.
The interview process took a few weeks. I was called by HR, followed by a few managers. They asked a mix of technical and behavioral questions. I was given the offer without having to visit the site. Everything was extremely straightforward and pleas
There were 2 rounds of interviews: technical and HR rounds. There were around 90 students shortlisted for the interviews after the OA round, and there were 10 panels present. Each panel had one person, and all interviews were one-on-one. Each panel
